During our stay at the Smiddy House, we found the property to be a true hidden gem in the Perthshire countryside. the house itself was immaculate, with modern decor and furnishings that gave a cozy feeling. the kitchen facilities were top-notch, equipped with a large cooking range and all the necessary cookware and utensils. We also appreciated the thoughtful touches such as the welcome Prosecco, free-range eggs, and local jam. The location of the house was ideal for exploring both Crieff and Auchterarder, with easy access to the train station at Gleneagles for further adventures. the patio area provided a lovely spot for outdoor dining, and the large smart TV in the lounge and master bedroom was a nice touch for relaxing in the evenings. Overall, the Smiddy House offered great value for the price, combining luxury amenities with a peaceful setting for a truly enjoyable stay. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil retreat in Scotland.
